About the Course
In this module students will examine facts about mental health and wellness and confront commonly held misconceptions about both. They will explore factors that contribute to mental wellness as well as mental illness. Students will evaluate coping strategies to calm themselves, embrace positivity, and practice mindfulness. Students will also implement a technique designed to improve their mindset. Lastly, students will explore their understanding of this topic and share their findings with one another through discussion and activities.
